You may think that once you get organized you won't have to do it again. But guess what? Life happens! Despite efforts to stay organized, clutter and disorganization can sneak up on us and take over!
New purchases, paperwork, emails, and photos enter our lives regularly, and need to be dealt with. If they are regularly maintained, it can take very little time put things where they belong.
Just like keeping fit requires you to eat healthy and exercise regularly, staying organized requires ongoing decluttering and maintenance. Stress, busy schedules, and major life events can make it challenging to maintain routines. Without consistent upkeep, organization can deteriorate quickly.

Dedicate 5-10 minutes each day to put items back in their designated spots. Use a "one in, one out" rule to avoid clutter creep. Set aside time each week to reset those high-traffic areas like your kitchen counters, entryway, or mudroom.
Simple habits like sorting mail immediately, or clearing empty containers and trash out of your bathroom in the morning, can make a big difference. Incorporating quick habits into your daily rhythm will make staying organized become second nature.
If you feel overwhelmed and need help to get organized and KEEP it that way, please reach out to us. We're here to support you every step of the way.
